Perfect Storm Boxing is a comprehensive boxing management firm that provides professional boxers with personalized management of career. PSB came to fruition from Jeremy Simpson, former owner of Simpson Boxing Management, merging with Paul Scianna, former professional boxer. Bringing the two forces together created an extensive resume from both sides of the ring making PSB the ideal package. Every fighter under the representation of PSB will thrive through the unparalled work ethic and vision of this seasoned team. Their collaborative experience provides a vast spectrum of guidance and advising that is unmatched in the world of boxing. Jeremy Simpson and Paul Scianna have both walked the walk of a boxer. Perfect Storm Boxing provides career advising and management services for professional boxers. Specifically, PSB will secure appropriate bouts for fighters to keep them consistently working in their field. PSB will guide all fighters through their career path to appropriately progress them through the ranks. Fighters will be protected both financially and physically as PSB will approve all bouts and opponents to ensure success. PSB will also provide opportunity for professional coaching, training and nutrition counseling if desired. Finally, PSB will work to provide ancillary revenue opportunities such as paid sponsorships and endorsements as deemed applicable and warranted. PSB services professional boxers that are currently without representation or seeking new representation. Choosing the right manager in the sport of boxing is a critical decision for a fighter. Learning how to protect oneself outside of the ring is a vital part of the job. PSB prides itself on instilling the necessary level of confidence in its fighters to know they are in good hands. Paul Scianna Biography
Born and raised in New Jersey, Paul Scianna hangs his boxing gloves in Cleveland, Ohio which he now calls home. At a very early age, it was remarkably evident that he would be a true leader in the world of fitness. Paul had an innate ability to excel in every aspect of athletics. While attending Kent State University, this natural talent exploded in the ring, beginning his amateur boxing career. After only competing for a year, Paul placed second in the Cleveland Golden Gloves. Although he entered the sport much older than most, Paul excelled quickly. At the age of 30, he was recruited to make his professional debut on Fox’s reality TV show, The Next Great Champ with Oscar De La Hoya.
With the misfortune of never securing a fitting manager, Paul chose to end his professional career after only three short years. His talent and love of boxing however, had a hidden fate of its own. Drawing from his years of vigorous training in various camps and training facilities across the country, Paul knows what it takes to stay physically and mentally ‘fight-ready’.
Recognizing the tremendous transformations that result from a conventional boxing workout, he knew he had something special to offer in the Personal Training industry. Paul obtained various fitness certifications and soon opened the doors to his own Personal Training, boxing and fitness facility studio, Empowering Punch.
Paul is sought out by athletes wanting and needing to get to that next level in both fitness and performance. He trains, coaches and nutritionally advises both amateur and professional athletes to expedite and ensure their successes at the highest level.
Jeremy Simpson Biography
Growing up in the backyards of Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini, Jeremy was destined to be a boxing fanatic. Hailing from the Youngstown area, he now lives with his wife and kids in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jeremy has over 20 years of experience in the sport at various levels, including fighting, broadcasting, training, and managing.
Jeremy began his love of boxing in the ring like most young fighters. He was a successful amateur fighter winning the Youngstown Golden Gloves as well as various other local tournaments. After getting his fill of excitement inside the ring, he began his journey on the outside. Jeremy has experience commentating and has co-hosted an ESPN radio show for “Inside Boxing”. He has introduced boxing skills to many inner city youth as part of a mentoring and training program.
Jeremy also has vast experience in the overall promotion of local amateur and professional boxing shows. Under his former company, Simpson Boxing Management, Jeremy has successfully secured fight contracts for his team at the local, national, and international level. He maintains successful negotiations with small local contacts to million dollar promoters. Jeremy has secured nationally televised fights such as: Darnell Boone vs Derrick Webster; Darnell Boone vs Adonis Stevenson II with Awe TV; Darnell Boone vs Morgan Fitch; Chris Rudd vs Yakibu amidu and Chris Rudd vs Petr Petrov, both on ESPN II for the Boxcino Tournament 2014.
Jeremy has obtained sponsorships from Aqua Hydrate and Original Athletes as well as a national endorsement from Rival Boxing. He has secured promotional contracts for Chris Rudd and Michael Moore – both through Banner Promotions.
